OSAAtoday presents its 2021 statewide 1A-6 football poll following the conclusion of Week 7. Thanks to all the coaches who took the time and had the expertise to contribute their opinions to this endeavor.

Look for the 1A-6 football poll every Wednesday during the fall regular season.

If there are any varsity football head coaches who would like to vote in 1A-6 coaches polls going forward but did not receive notice to vote in this one, please email johnt@osaa.org.

Week 7 highlights: Powers beat North Douglas 38-27 as Rene Sears ran for two touchdowns and threw for two scores, both to Alex Mahmoud, who also had two rushing touchdowns. North Douglas' Palu Rayon-Wilder rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns. … Elkton edged Gilchrist 41-38 as Nathan Rausch rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns and caught three passes for 90 yards and three scores. Christian Halstead caught eight passes for 226 yards and ran for a touchdown for Elkton, which got four scoring passes from Ronny Ronning. ... Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler defeated Joseph 49-6.
