• Hire and oversee a staff of assistant coaches with Athletic Director approval.
• Develop and implement an off-season program for athletics.
• Advocate for multi-sport athletes
• Provide regular communication with parents/families.
• Regularly track the academic process of all student athletes in the program and facilitate necessary supports to ensure their academic eligibility.
• Works effectively and collaborates with other althletic programs to ensure off season/summer opportunities.
• Hold all student atheletes and coaching staff to high expectations.
• Help develop the youth program below 9th grade level.
• Work with local media as needed and establish strong working relationships with community support groups.

Valley Catholic High School, a member of the OSAA 3A Lewis & Clark League and a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon, has an opening for someone to lead the Track & Field Programs.

High School track season runs: mid-February to end of May. 

Candidates should have experience at the high school level or higher and demonstrate a clear vision, goals, and objectives to operate a very successful high school track program, including a passion and skill for teaching fundamentals, teamwork, ethics, and sportsmanship.

Employment Requirements: 

·       First Aid/CPR/AED certification card or the ability to obtain one before the first day of the fall sports season.
