Parents and Students
At its core, the Oregon School Activities Association strives to provide quality programs for high school students throughout Oregon. Parents can be the most influential and positive support group for students as they grow and develop. The following resources will help parents and students in getting the most out of their interscholastic experiences. We encourage you to work closely with your local school and school district to take full advantage of the benefits offered through high school activities.Mission of the OSAA
The mission of the OSAA is to serve member schools by providing leadership and state coordination for the conduct of interscholastic activities, which will enrich the educational experiences of high school students. This page is designed to help support schools, students, and parents when it comes to Name, Image and Likeness (NIL). The links below will help families navigate this constantly changing landscape.NIL rights are defined as the three components of a person's right of publicity and NIL rules allow athletes to be compensated for their personal brands with promotions for various services and products. Examples of NIL activities include, but are not limited to: social media promotion, endorsements, appearances, sponsorships, autograph signings, private training camps and clinics, etc.

OnPoint Community Credit Union - Scholar Program
OnPoint Community Credit Union has been the title sponsor of the OSAA State Championships since 2018. OnPoint was founded in 1932 by 16 schoolteachers and we are committed to strengthening local education by supporting students, schools and educators in Oregon and SW Washington. OnPoint Community Credit Union sponsors the Scholar Program, recognizing Scholar Athletes and Activity Scholars who are graduating seniors at OSAA member schools.

AAA - Hispanic Metro Chamber Scholarship
AAA stands for Safety, Mobility and Community, as a proud partner of the OSAA - AAA offers a scholarship through the Hispanic Metro Chamber. Since 1997, the Hispanic Chamber has conducted annual fundraising to award scholarships to Latino students. To date we have awarded over $3 million to over 1,165 students throughout Oregon and SW Washington.

United States Navy
The US Navy is a proud partner of the OSAA, and are looking for students that represent their main values: Determination, Hard Work, Perseverance, and Sacrifice. The Navy offers a premier opportunity - The Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) is a scholarship program that provides full tuition, stipends, summer training cruises and more so you can enjoy a traditional college experience while preparing to serve as a Naval Officer.

United States Army
The United States Army is a proud partner of the OSAA, the US Army provides many opportunities to get involved and start on your path to become a US Army Soldier.
The Minuteman Scholarship provides full tuition and fees or room and board ($12,000 per year) for up to four years at a public or private school, along with a number of other financial education incentives. This program provides well-trained officers to the Reserve Components and improves the total Army force.

The GI Bill helps pay for schooling, trainings, and certifications to support your career goals both during and after your time with the Army. You’ll need to serve three years to access its full benefits.

The Army’s Tuition Assistance program helps Soldiers in active duty, the Army Reserve, or the Army National Guard with up to $4,000 annually towards school or professional training.

The Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) offers scholarships that help cover the cost of your tuition and school supplies while you work towards becoming a commissioned Army Officer. Army ROTC pays for your tuition while you go to college and train to become an Army Officer. It’s offered at more than 1,000 colleges and universities. Get the college experience and graduate as a second lieutenant in the Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard. High school students who apply for ROTC are eligible for scholarships covering up to the full cost of tuition based on merit and grades, plus $420 per month for personal expenses and $1,200 per year for books.

Jiffy Lube of Oregon & SW Washington
Jiffy Lube is a proud partner of the OSAA and proud to support high school students in the Greater Portland and Salem Areas with the Jiffy Lube "What Drives You?" Scholarship Program. The Jiffy Lube "What Drives You?" High School Scholarship program is a unique opportunity to pursue your interests, goals and ideas. A simple 500 words about what drives you? Finalist essays will be selected from the 500 word “What Drives You?” essays. Each finalist will be guaranteed a minimum $1,500 award if they create and submit a unique 1-2 min. video that expands on their essay in their own candid words, visuals, etc. The overall $4,500 scholarship winner will be chosen from these videos.

Moda Health
Moda Health is pleased to sponsor the OSAA. Moda has sponsored the Player of the Game / Athlete of the Meet program since the 2010-2011 school year. Moda's scholarship program is open for All 2024-2025 varsity students in OSAA-sanctioned activities are eligible to apply for a scholarship. To apply, a student must write a personal essay describing areas in which he or she has demonstrated leadership through involvement in academics, co-curricular activities, and community organizations. Two letters of recommendation are also required.

Oregon Seed Council
The Oregon Seed Council will be offering three college scholarships this year in the amounts of $2,000, $1,000 and $500. A scholarship committee will review applications, conduct interviews and choose the scholarship recipients. The scholarship will be available for college bound students who come from a farm involved in seed production, have worked on a seed farm or have worked for a seed company. High school seniors, home school seniors, or current college students are eligible.

Oregon Army National Guard
The Oregon Army National Guard is a proud partner of the OSAA and OACA.
