No. 1 Jesuit 76, No. 32 Century 43: Liam Ruttledge scored 18 points and Roy Bunn had 12 points for the reigning state champion Crusaders, who had five players in double figures. Edidem Essien (14 points) and Kyle Hamnes (11 points) led Century.
No. 16 Summit 57, No. 17 Sheldon 45: Sophomore guard Julian Mora and senior Jacob Tompkins scored 21 points each to lead the Storm past the Irish. The game was tied 21-21 at half, but Mora scored 10 points in the third quarter, making two three-pointers, as Summit took control.
No. 9 West Linn 95, No. 24 McNary 52: Freshman point guard Jackson Shelstad had 19 points and six assists to lead West Linn, which made 12 three-pointers, four from Colton Young (12 points) and three from Gus Michelon (11 points). Micah Garrett and Bryson Crockett added 16 and 13 points, respectively, for the Lions. Nate Meithof scored 21 points for McNary, 12 in the first quarter.
No. 8 Mountainside 52, No. 25 Tualatin 44: Bennett Giebels scored 13 points, making 8 of 10 free throws, and Andrew Ingalls added nine points for Mountainside. Tualatin got 12 points from John Miller and 10 points from Sam Noland.
No. 5 Central Catholic 68, No. 28, Canby 49: Darius Gakwasi had 21 points and nine reobunds, Luke Johnson had 17 points and DeRay Seamster added 11 points, nine rebounds and nine assists for Central Catholic. Tommy Ovchinnikoff led Canby with 24 points.
No. 12 Tigard 69, No. 21 David Douglas 62: Drew Carter scored 27 second-half points and finished with 34 to lead the Tigers, who trailed 34-30 at half. Trent Templeton scored 17 points for David Douglas.
No. 13 Grant 49, No. 20 Beaverton 39: Erik Fraser had 23 points and seven rebounds to lead the Generals past the Beavers. Grant outscored Beaverton 11-4 in the third quarter to pull ahead 30-26, and Fraser went 4 for 4 from the free throw line in the closing minutes to seal the win. Emanuel Steward had 11 points and five rebounds and freshman Adrian Mosley added six points, 10 rebounds and four steals for the Generals. John Oleson scored 18 points for the Beavers.
No. 4 Clackamas 70, No. 29 Mountain View 45: Ben Gregg scored 29 points as the Cavaliers routed the Cougars. Clackamas outscored Mountain View 25-6 in the third quarter -- getting 13 points from Gregg -- to open a 55-24 lead. Ryan Lewis and Izzy Baker added 16 and 12 points, respectively, for Clackamas. Grant Jordan scored 15 points for Mountain View.
No. 3 Jefferson 71, No. 30 Sandy 62: Jefferson trailed 24-23 at half but rallied behind freshman Marquis Cook, who scored nine of his 13 points in the third quarter. Lamar Washington scored 24 points and Nate Rawlins-Kibonge had 12 points and six rebounds for the Democrats. Pierce Roeder and Kaleb Hubbard had 24 and 17 points, respectively, for Sandy.
No. 14 Sherwood 65, No. 19 Gresham 64 (OT): Gresham rallied from a six-point deficit with two minutes left in regulation to force overtime at 53-53, but the Bowmen escaped with the home win. Jamison Guerra split two free throws with 3.8 seconds left to make it 65-61, and the Gophers made a three-pointer at the buzzer. Caden Davis and Asher Krauel scored 13 points apiece and Baydon Kullowatz added 12 points for Sherwood. Elijah Munyan had 21 points to lead Gresham.
No. 11 Westview 62, No. 22 Grants Pass 39: Game story
No. 6 Barlow 76, No. 27 West Salem 59: Jesse White made four three-pointers and scored 31 points and Evan Inglesby made three three-pointers and added 22 points for the Bruins, who won their 14th in a row. Barlow scored the last nine points of the first half to lead 41-30, then White erupted for 17 points in the third quarter to push the advantage to 65-42. Jackson Lowery scored 18 points for West Salem.
No. 7 Lake Oswego 44, No. 26 Cleveland 28: The Lakers trailed 9-0 but responded with a 21-5 run to take control. Lake Oswego held the Warriors to 29.4-percent shooting (10 of 34) and forced 26 turnovers. Jack Chlumak scored 16 points and Casey Graver added 13 points for the Lakers, who missed all 12 of their three-point attempts. Oskar Christiansen scored 11 points for Cleveland.
No. 10 South Eugene 82, No. 23 Sunset 62: Bryce Boettcher made all 10 of his field-goal attempts, including one three-pointer, and finished with 22 points, 13 rebounds and six assists to lead the Axe past the Apollos. Sam Harris added 20 points, four assists and three steals for South Eugene, which led 45-31 at half. Kell Estep scored 22 points for Sunset.
No. 18 Oregon City 57, No. 15 North Medford 53: Jake Gettel scored 23 points and Andre Best added 18 points for the Pioneers, the only road team to win Wednesday night. North Medford led 21-13 in the second quarter but Oregon City came back, taking its first lead at 49-47 on a drive by Best with three minutes left. The Black Tornado missed two front ends of one-and-one free throw opportunities in the final two minutes. Landon Ellis had 16 points and eight assists and Jett Carpenter had 19 points and 10 rebounds for North Medford.
No 2 South Salem 58, No. 31 Newberg 37: Kieran Pruett scored 17 points and Jasper Phipps added 14 points for the Saxons, who led 18-9 after one quarter, 32-21 at half and were never threatened. Newberg got 13 points from Solomon Byles.
