PIL Preview, at Lents Park, Wednesday
Girls -- Franklin senior Kaiya Robertson won by less than a second over Wells senior Charlotte Richman, 18:11.10 to 18:12.02. Ida B. Wells won the team title with depth behind junior Petra Shuster (third in 18:57.55) and sophomores Josie Fale (19:03.97 in fourth), Olivia Kozitza (19:57.70 in seventh) and Lily Roler (15th 20:46.24).
Team scores: Wells 29, Franklin 39, Lincoln 62, Grant 112, Cleveland 134.
Boys -- Franklin senior Charlie North ran to the victory in 15:47.35, leading the Lightning to the team title. Wells junior Kai Mitchell-Reiss was second in 16:00.92, followed by Franklin junior Sheadon Ocker (16:02.51) and the Lincoln duo of junior Samy Anderson (16:08.27) and senior Joshua Fravel (16:12.66).
Team scores: Franklin 25, Lincoln 47, Wells 76, Grant 121, McDaniel 138, Cleveland 158, Benson 193.
TRL Preview, at Oregon City, Wednesday
Girls -- Lake Oswego freshman Ana Peters cruised to victory in 18:32.77. Lakeridge senior Ainsley Williams was second in 19:43.23, leading the Pacers to the team title. Tigard junior Lillian Herman was third (19:53.22).
Team scores: Lakeridge 49, Tigard 59, St. Mary’s Academy 80, Tualatin 98, West Linn 104, Lake Oswego 121, Oregon City 141, Canby 227.
Boys -- Tualatin brothers, senior Caleb Lakeman (15:43.50) and junior Aaron Lakemen (16:27.84), went 1-2 for the Timberwolves, but Lakeridge placed five runners in the top 13 places to claim the team title.
Team scores: Lakeridge 46, Tualatin 61, Canby 84, West Linn 98, Oregon City 99, Tigard 132.
3A District 1 Preview, at Tualatin, Wednesday
Girls -- Horizon Christian sophomore Mikenzy Rosen ran to the win 19:51.47, while Catlin Gabel outdueled Vernonia for the team title by one point. Catlin Gabel junior Megan Cover was second in 20:19.29 and Vernonia placed third through fifth (sophomore Delaney Draeger and seniors Sadie Gump and Elena Zielke).
Team scores: Catlin Gabel 29, Vernonia 30, Riverdale 66.
Boys -- Westside Christian senior David Dugan romped to victory in 16:03.28 leading the Eagles to the team win. Warrenton senior Zander Moha was second in 16:50.12 and Oregon Episcopal junior Olin Gister was third in 16:55.00.
Team scores: Westside Christian 46, Vernonia 65, Oregon Episcopal 67, Yamhill-Carlton 104, Riverdale 126, Horizon Christian 143, Portland Adventist 160, Rainier 204.
NWOC Preview, at Blue Lake Park, Wednesday
Girls -- Putnam junior Noemi Lundgren got the win in 21:04.67 to lead the Kingsmen to the team title. St. Helens senior Hanna Hayduk was second in 21:32.08 and Putnam freshman Grace Flowerday was third in 21:47.42.
Team scores: Putnam 28, Wilsonville 49, LaSalle Prep 50, Scappoose 90.
Boys -- Milwaukie junior Logan Law ran away to victory in 15:53.91, but Wilsonville placed all five scoring runners in the top ten to win the team title. Junior Mason Weisenberger led the Wildcats in second place in 16:27.93.
Team scores: Wilsonville 21, Scappoose 47, LaSalle Prep 81, Putnam 100, St. Helens 132.
Runner Soul XC Fest, at Umatilla, Friday
Girls -- Hermiston dominated at Big River Golf Course with the top seven finishers, led by sophomore Megan Joyce in 20:17.30 and senior Alexia Serna in 20:51.90.
Team scores: Hermiston 15, Southridge 59, The Dalles 76, Weston-McEwen 106.
Boys -- The Dalles junior Juan Diego Contreras backed up his impressive showing last week at Ultimook with a commanding win by over one minute in 15:53.00. Hermiston had a nice grouping of all seven runners within 45 seconds (17:34.80-18:19.80), finishing in fifth through 11th place to win the team title.
Team scores: Hermiston 30, The Dalles 47, Heppner 63, Southridge 115, Umatilla 132.
Ash Creek XC Festival, at Monmouth, Saturday
Girls -- Jesuit senior Chloe Foerster took advantage of the great weather to post a convincing victory in a very fast 17:24.50, but the Summit girls had just enough depth to eke out the team win over the Crusaders, 43-47. Lincoln senior Kendall York was second in 17:50.60, while Summit senior Teaghan Knox was third in 17:57.00 and Franklin senior Kaiya Robertson was fourth in 18:02.10.
Team scores (top four): Summit 43, Jesuit 47, Franklin 99, Lincoln 123.
Boys -- Tualatin senior Caleb Lakeman stamped himself as a 6A title contender with the win in 14:58.50. The Jesuit boys showed incredible depth with six runners in the top 19 to easily win the team title with 40 points, while the Lincoln boys ran well to outdistance PIL rival Franklin for second, 77-110. Jesuit junior Jacob Nenow finished second in 15:07.20 and Franklin senior Charlie North was third in 15:14.10.

Saxon Invite, at Bush Park in Salem, Saturday
Girls -- North Salem senior Isabel Swain got the victory in 18:53.64 ahead of South Salem senior Zoey Hock (19:29.14) and Grants Pass senior Madison Wilt (19:29.79).
Team scores: South Salem 51, Grants Pass 73, McKay 93, Bend 96, Crater 109, Thurston 138, North Eugene 180, Ridgefield 187.
Boys -- Crater junior Tyrone Gorze won in 14:59.68 to lead the Comets to the team title. Crater sophomore Jeffery Hellman was second in 15:24.54, followed by South Salem junior Kelvin Wilson (15:29.24) and Crater freshman Josiah Tostenson (16:12.97).
Team scores: Crater 34, South Salem 55, Bend 98, Grants Pass 126, Ridgefield 139, Reynolds 151, Thurston 198, Centennial 201, North Eugene 202, McKay 239.
Logger Elk Run, at Seaside, Saturday
Girls -- Vernonia sophomore Delaney Draeger won in 21:48.80 to lead the Loggers to the team title. Neah-Kah-Nie senior Jordan White was second in 22:35.50, while Loggers senior Sadie Gump was third in 23:17.50.
Team scores: Vernonia 27, Seaside 58, Astoria 62, Taft 68.
Boys -- Knappa junior Isaiah Rodriguez won convincingly in 17:11.40 over Warrenton senior Zander Moha (18:07.00).
