Lions QB Sloan Baker threw for 217 yards and three TDs while also rushing for 64 yards with two more scores. Josiah Molden had six catches for 90 yards with a score. … It was the Cole Thomas show to get No. 5 Central Catholic by No. 4 Willamette 27-20. The Rams senior returned the game’s opening kickoff for a TD and had 121 rushing yards with two TDs. Tayton Promma-Harris had two interceptions, one returned for a 70-yard score that put the Rams up 14-0 before taking an offensive snap.
No. 3 Lake Oswego took care of business in a 51-10 win over No. 11 Grants Pass. RB LaMarcus Bell ran for 161 yards and five TDs put the Lakers over the top. … No. 2 Nelson scored all of its points in the third quarter to take a 21-7 win over No. 10 Lakeridge and make the semifinals for the first time in program history. QB Danny Leary threw for 161 yards with two TDs.
No. 17 Sandy ran its way to 377 rushing yards and a 36-20 victory over No. 21 Beaverton in the semifinals of the Columbia Cup. Cade McMahon rushed for 161 yards with a TD, Cody Rinard had 109 yards and a score on the ground, and Grayson Fitch chipped in 99 yards and two TDs. … Jaeden Thonstad kicked a late 25-yard field goal and Sammy Huxtable had a game-sealing interception to lift No. 18 South Medford over No. 19 Clackamas 24-22 in the Columbia Cup semifinals. Kellen Lefebvre ran for 153 yards with a TD.

No. 1 Summit escaped No. 9 West Albany with a 14-13 victory. Jude Anderson ran for 173 yards and a TD on a night where the Storm had issues finishing drives. QB Andrew Guthrie threw for 167 yards and one TD and Connor Conneely had the game-sealing interception. … No. 13 Churchill held firm in the final minutes to regain the lead and run out the clock in another upset, this one a 33-23 win over No. 5 Thurston. Lukas Babbitt had the game’s opening score while Lucas Gansen and TJ Wright hooked up for two TDs through the air. Wright also had a 54-yard rushing TD that put the game away up 33-23.
No. 3 Mountain View found a way to finish a couple drives while not allowing No. 6 Dallas to do the same in a 14-0 win. The Cougars scored in the first on an Alex Toolan six-yard pass to Jettson Gillam, and the second came in the fourth when Toolan hit Easton Wray from three yards out. Ryder Carpenter finished with 130 rushing yards. … No. 2 Silverton found its rhythm in the second half to knock out the two-time defending champions in No. 7 Wilsonville 35-32. QB Chase Dominguez threw for 225 yards and one TD. Sutton Kuenzi had 112 yards receiving and Levi Schurter 113 yards rushing and four TDs in the win.

No. 1 Cascade survived a scare from No. 8 Junction City after only leading 14-7 at halftime in the 28-20 Cougars win. … No. 4 Scappoose had no problem with No. 5 Tillamook this time around, taking down the league for 46-7. Elijah Greenan Biggs couldn’t be stopped near the end zone, rushing for 151 yards with five TDs. When it wasn’t him, QB Will Kessi went to work with 305 passing yards and a TD, Drew Butler being one of the targets with 106 yards and a TD. Sawyer Heinze also had an 84-yard kickoff return TD.
No. 3 Henley cruised in a 42-0 blanking of No. 6 Estacada. The Hornets gave up only 120 total yards to the Rangers while the offense rolled on the ground with five TDs. Jeremiah Brunick led the way with 88 rushing yards and two TDs, and QB Joseph Janney ran for two scores along with 154 passing yards and another TD. … No. 2 Marshfield held on for a 33-21 win over No. 7 La Grande. Jaden Tice rushed for 77 yards and two TDs, while QB Enoch Niblett threw for 293 yards and two TDs along with a rushing score. Lane Olsen was a big target all night with 113 receiving yards.

Deryk Farmer was a part of five touchdowns as No. 1 Cascade Christian blew by No. 9 North Valley 48-0. The QB threw for 200 yards and three TDs while also rushing for 40 yards and two more scores. Mikey Covey had 116 receiving yards and caught a TD. … No. 12 Gervais is back in the semifinals thanks to 201 rushing yards and six TDs from Johnny Mariano in a 44-29 win over No. 13 Douglas. The RB had six rushing TDs in the Cougars’ first round win and also had two sacks on defense against the Trojans.
Jack Wright helped No. 3 Burns avenge a regular season loss to No. 6 Vale with a 32-20 quarterfinals victory. The QB threw for 238 yards with two TDs and also rushed for one more. Tommy Winn rushed for 213 yards with a TD and one receiving score, while Coltin Miller had 118 yards receiving. … No. 2 Banks gave up only 158 total yards and came away with six turnovers in a 29-0 shutout of No. 7 Kennedy. QB Nate Lyda had a 64-yard rushing TD and came up with interceptions on defense, while Henry White had a 70-yard pick-six.

No. 1 Heppner continues to roll, this time a 48-0 win over No. 8 Lowell. The Mustangs gave up only 99 yards of offense while their own offense racked up 442. Tripp Stewart had a good chunk of it with 138 rushing yards and a TD and QB Caylan Proudfoot threw for 135 yards and two TDs. Alakae Rodriguez chipped in 78 rushing yards and two TDs. Stewart and Rodriguez both had an interception on defense as well. … The unbeaten run came to an end for No. 5 Clatskanie in a 36-16 loss to No. 4 St. Paul. The Tigers outgained the Buckaroos, but couldn’t finish off drives. For St. Paul, Bryson Britten had 111 rushing yards with a TD while QB Noah Hackett threw two TDs and rushed for one more.
No. 3 Bandon slowed down the No. 11 Culver rushing game and took home a 34-7 victory. The Tigers have their own deadly ground game with Reggie Turner rushing for 104 yards and three TDs, Cody Robison going for 115 yards and a TD and Hayden Thompson running for 93 yards and a score. … No. 10 Myrtle Point went toe-to-toe with No. 2 Lost River, but didn’t score in the fourth as the Raiders took the 30-20 win. QB Kyle Diaz led the way with 141 rushing yards and a TD, along with 137 passing yards and two more TDs. Kellen Dunlea had 102 receiving yards and one of those scores.

No. 4 Crosspoint Christian scored late in the fourth and grabbed an interception to seal the deal in a 22-20 win over No. 5 Elgin. … No. 3 Union is back in the semifinals for the first time since 1986 with a 36-24 win over No. 6 Imbler. Dawson Miller threw for 266 yards and three TDs, most of that going to Derek Miller with 179 receiving yards. Jackson Davenport scored twice on the ground with 82 rushing yards, while the defense had two safeties and five interceptions, two of them from Carlos Jimenez.
No. 2 Adrian scored 38 points in the second quarter to take out No. 7 North Douglas 49-0. Kash Morford scored twice on the ground and Chase Franklin caught two TD passes from Trey Bayes. The Antelopes also recovered a fumble in the end zone for a score and Silvestre Rico Jr. had a 45-yard pick-six.

No. 9 Crow held No. 1 Triangle Lake to only 50 yards in the second half en route to a major upset 32-20. Cayden Hernandez did a little bit of everything with 228 rushing yards and two TDs, plus 143 passing yards with three TDs and an interception on defense. … No. 4 Elkton held on after leading 22-0 at halftime for a 34-26 win over No. 5 Joseph. QB Carson Peters finished with 203 passing yards and four TDs to keep the Elks ahead the whole way despite the Joseph comeback. Talon Harvey had 65 receiving yards and two TDs while Darwin Hudson had 105 receiving yards and a TD.
