Dec. 22 Statewide Girls Basketball Coaches Polls

Another early-season look at the top girls basketball teams in the state, according to the coaches

OSAAtoday presents its Dec. 22 statewide Girls Basketball Coaches Polls in all classifications for the 2025-2026 winter season. Thanks to all the coaches who took the time and had the expertise to contribute their opinions to this endeavor.

Look for the polls every Monday during the winter season starting next week.

Please note: these polls are for generating interest and discussion only and have no impact on the OSAA’s RPI and Colley ratings that form the basis of the OSAA’s rankings for playoff purposes.

Also note: the 6A poll will be out Tuesday morning and will include results from Sunday and Monday games.

Any girls high school varsity head coach who did not receive a voting link and would like to participate, please email johnt@osaa.org to learn how. We are desperate for more coach participation, especially in 5A.

  • First-place votes in parentheses
  • Pre-season ranking in brackets
  • Record listed is what’s posted on www.osaa.org as of Sunday (except for 6A, for the reasons noted above))
