Top seed Vale (25-1) remained unbeaten against 3A competition Saturday with a 54-24 over No. 16 Brookings-Harbor to advance to the state tournament in Coos Bay. The Vikings led 14-3 after one quarter and 27-7 at halftime. Kelsey Stepleton led the way for Vale, scoring all 18 or her points in the first three quarters. Elli Jacobs scored nine of her 11 points in the third quarter. Kaiya Evans had seven points for the Bruins, who graduate only two seniors. ... Defending state champion Amity scored the first 24 points of the game and cruised past Westside Christian 79-40. Eliza Nisly had a game-high 22 points for the No. 2 Warriors, while sister Adie Nisley added 21. Amity (25-2) has won 18 games in a row since a non-league loss to Vale on Jan. 3. Elliot Joyce had 18 points to lead the 18th-seeded Eagles. ... 

No. 3 Banks used strong defense and a balanced offensive effort to down No. 19 Santiam Chrisitan 53-29. The Braves (21-4) are allowing just 21.9 points per game in their current 17-game winning streak. Nylah Vanthorn had 12 points, with Clarissa Shurts and Brooklyn Evans chipping in with 10 each for the defending state runner-up. Aubree Borgaro, Celia Chatterton and Gina Melton had eight points each for the Eagles. ... The trio of Elliette Kinney (20 points), Kylie Leonard (19 points, five assists, five steals) and Mila Nguyen (15 points) did the heavy lifting as fourth-seeded Creswell took out No. 13 Jefferson 61-42. "The girls did a great job of dictating the flow and communicating," Bulldogs coach Tyler Hollingsworth said. Aziza Saad and McKinley Warren notched 13 points each for the Lions. ... Fifth seed Sisters trailed by as many as 13 points in the second quarter but clamped down on defense and rallied to beat No. 12 Yamhill-Carlton 38-29 and avoid the upset. ... 

After coming up one win short of Coos Bay in each of the past three years, No. 6 Valley Catholic finally broke through with a 45-36 victory against 11th-seeded Taft. The Valiants used a 16-4 run in the second half to break a 25-25 tie and open up a comfortable lead. Brooke Wilson paced the Valiants with 13 points. Laney Lee had a team-high 12 points for the visiting Tigers. ... No. 7 Pleasant Hill earned a trip to Coos Bay by beating No. 10 Coquille 40-31. ... Kindal Rivera got her only basket with 20 seconds left to lift No. 8 Sutherlin over No. 9 Cascade Christian 31-29. The Bulldogs trailed 23-18 through three quarters but outscored the Challengers 13-6 in the final frame. Makaila McClatcher led Sutherlin with 11 points.

No. 1 Regis (26-1) took another step Saturday toward returning to the state championship game for the first time since winning five consecutive championships from 2010-14, breezing past Bonanza 68-34. The Rams jumped out to a 22-3 lead after one quarter and extended it to 43-11 at halftime. Freshman Frankie Koehnke led the way with 21 points, while Clara Persons added 14. All five seniors on the Regis roster scored in their final home game. Maggie Ackley had nine points for the No. 16 Antlers. ... A 17-3 run in the second quarter gave No. 2 Weston-McEwen the boost it needed to get past No. 15 Kennedy 64-39. Addy Hall had 21 points for the TigerScots, with Charlotte Hansell contributing 16. "On to Pendleton with a well-deserved win by a group of girls who recommitted themselves to each other and are getting healthy at the right time," Weston-McEwen coach Jeremy Wolf said after his team improved to 23-2. Grace Traeger (15 points) and Brianna Traeger (13 points) led the Trojans. ... 

No. 3 Western Christian (22-5), the 2025 runner-up and 2024 state champion, clamped down in the second half and dispatched No. 14 Portland Christian 49-25. The Pioneers outscored the Royals 29-11 after halftime. Kinsey Wark notched a game-high 22 points for Western Christian, while Kylie Sommer had a dominant all-around game with 14 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks. Juliet Wachsmuth posted 12 points for Portland Christian. ... No. 4 Crosshill Christian advanced to the state tournament site for the first time in school history, dominating 13th-seeded Heppner 57-13. The Eagles led 19-1 after the first quarter. Kasey Zuidema and Khloie Cobb had 16 points each for Crosshill, which won its 12th straight game. ... 

Oakland went on the road and upset Nestucca 62-58, ending the Bobcats' 14-game winning streak. Sahara Kramer went 5-for-8 on three-pointers on the way to 28 points for the No. 12 Oakers, who are going to Pendleton for the first time in seven years. Kramer added 10 rebounds. Oakland coach Tristan Ivie described it as "an extremely intense and competitive four-quarter game with many lead changes." Nestucca led 49-48 through three quarters but couldn't hang on. Taylor Knight poured in 25 of her 28 points in the first half for the No. 5 Bobcats, while Piper Armstrong added 15. ... No. 6 Bandon hit nine three-pointers (eight in the first half) and eased past 11th-seeded East Linn Christian 55-30. Caitlyn Michalek compiled 13 of her team-high 21 points in the first quarter. Addison Stallard pitched in with 13 points. 

Kayla Monkus had 17 of her game-high 22 points in the first half of No. 7 Stanfield's 61-35 takedown of Central Linn. Taylor Sperr dominated on the interior with 10 points, 17 rebounds, five assists and five steals, while Kayleigha Haney racked up eight points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. Addie Wolff (15 points) and Peyton Gaskey (13 points) led the No. 10 Cobras. ... Knappa started the season 1-8, but the Loggers are headed to Pendleton after a hard-fought overtime road win at Trinity Lutheran, 67-61. No. 9 Knappa trailed by eight midway through the fourth quarter, then let a late four-point lead slip away as the No. 8 Saints forced the extra period. "That was an absolute battle," said Loggers coach Tracie Brockey. "From the opening tip, it was a back-and-forth matchup." Knappa's Mylie Lempea exploded for 36 points including seven three-pointers and had 18 points in the fourth quarter and overtime. Lucy Olen also had a big game with 20 points. Ella Prelog scored 18 of her 22 points after halftime to lead Trinity Lutheran.

No. 1 Imbler (25-4) jumped out to a big lead with a 24-point first quarter and downed No. 16 Mapleton 63-35 to earn a trip to the state tournament site. Olivia Haddock scored 11 of her 19 points in the opening period. Whitney Haddock made three three-pointers on the way to 11 points. The Panthers will take an 11-game winning streak to Baker City. Lucie Burruss scored 13 points to lead the Sailors, who had won 16 games in a row after starting the season 3-5. ... Second-seeded North Clackamas Christian (25-3) built an 18-point halftime lead and extended it from there, beating No. 15 Powder Valley 67-33. Keslyn Turner had 19 points, while Melia Turner added 17. The Saints will take a young team to Baker City, with only one senior on the roster. ... No. 3 Country Christian got a tough battle from No. 19 Elgin, but escaped with a 47-43 win. The Cougars improved to 25-4 on the season. ... Fourth-seeded Jordan Valley won its 16th consecutive game, 43-29 over No. 13 Umpqua Valley Christian. ...

Crane entered this season's postseason in unfamiliar territory as the No. 12 seed, but the young Mustangs kept their bid for a fifth state championship in six years alive with a slim 40-39 win at No. 5 Southwest Christian. "Intense defense with our press shut down some of their leading scorers," said Crane head coach Tomika Doman, who led the Mustangs to the last two 1A titles. "Proud of our girls. Southwest Christian is a great team and it was a tough battle for sure." Emily Clark had 17 points to lead Crane, while the lone senior on the roster, Ava Bowen, chipped in with 11. Addi Scott scored 13 points for the Wildcats. ... Echo outscored North Lake by 11 points in the fourth quarter to come from behind for a 45-39 win. The No. 6 Cougars were led by Jaycee Campbell's 15 points, while Cam Estes posted a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. "It took some serious determination to pull this win out, and these girls showed they were ready to hang it up just yet," Echo coach RJ Ramos said. Freshman Naomi Roth had a big game with 22 points, 14 rebounds and four steals for the No. 11 Cowgirls. ...

No. 10 Union built a 15-point halftime lead and held off a furious rally by Dufur to capture a 50-47 road win. The Bobcats, who finished second in the tournament last year, got 19 points from Millie Miller and 15 from Taylor Browning. Hailee Pechanec dropped in 17 points for the No. 10 Rangers, who hit four three-pointers in the fourth quarter but couldn't complete the comeback bid. ... No. 8 Powers got revenge for a loss earlier in the season to No. 9 Harper Charter, beating the Hornets 52-38 in the rematch of a 50-38 loss in December. Kendra Bushnell had 16 points to lead the Cruisers, with Danika Bushnell and KaiLey Jo Swenson contributing 12 points each.
