Southridge's Sara Mangan set the state record for all classifications for career 3-pointers, but it wasn't enough as No. 10 Nelson grabbed the 60-55 win to move on to the state tournament. Led by Love Forde's 18 points and 10 rebounds, the Hawks surged late after falling behind by seven at halftime. Nylah Webster hit four 3-pointers and scored 15 points for Nelson, which will make its first appearance in the final eight. Mangan scored 25 points for the seventh-seeded Skyhawks and made three shots from behind the arc. She finishes her high school career with 362 3-pointers — three more than previous record holder Taycee Wedin of La Salle Prep. ...

Top-ranked and defending state champion Tualatin (25-1) barreled its way to the Chiles Center with another dominant win, downing No. 17 Lake Oswego 64-19 to remain unbeaten vs Oregon teams this season. Sophomores Kendall Dawkins (15 points, 12 rebounds) and Love Lei Best (14 points, five steals) led the way for the Timberwolves, while senior Maaya Lucas contributed 14 points. Sloane Morris had eight points for the Lakers. ... Kaylor Buse and Sophie Maxwell had 18 points each in West Linn's 62-36 win versus No. 15 Century. Jordan Reese filled the stat sheet with 10 points, six rebounds, five assists and six steals. The second-seeded Lions' only two losses against Oregon competition this season are to Three Rivers League rival Tualatain. 

PIL champion and No. 3 seed Benson won its 20th game in a row, 71-36 against 14th-ranked Beaverton. Five Astros scored in double figures, led by Samarah Massey's 15 points. Jayla Lackey posted 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Londyn Dyton had 14 points. The Beavers were led by 11 points from Ruby Foord. ... Mayenabasi Akpan compiled 20 points and 13 rebounds, with Dyllyn Howell also kicking in 20 points as South Medford improved to 24-2 with a 65-26 win over 20th-seeded Mountainside. The Panthers have won 19 straight games, with the last 13 each coming by at least 35 points. Kyle Proux scored nine points for the Mavericks, who were held to a season low in scoring. ...

A strong all-around game by Tenley Bozeman (12 points, 12 rebounds, four steals, four blocks) propelled Sherwood past No. 12 Sheldon 44-25. Four other players recorded between six and eight points. "We had a really balanced night, the girls played team basketball and really hunted the best shot for the team," coach Matt Sanders said. Leading by seven at halftime, Sherwood outscored the Irish 11-0 in the third quarter to build an insurmountable advantage. The Bowmen will enter the Chiles Center on a 16-game winning streak. Makenna Rhode led Sheldon with nine points. ... No. 11 Oregon City took a seven-point lead at halftime and never relinquished it, securing a 43-39 road victory versus No. 6 South Salem. Junior Livie Carns was the only player in double figures for the Pioneers with 12 points. Chica Casas had a team-high 14 for the Saxons. ... No. 9 West Salem traveled to No. 8 Jesuit and picked up a 52-43 win. Emma Zuniga led the Titans with 17 points and eight rebounds. Lily Griffin shot 6-for-9 from the field and had 14 points to go with eight rebounds, four assists and three steals. West Salem started the season 5-8 against a challenging non-conference slate, but has rebounded to win 12 of 14 to head to the Chiles Center with momentum.

West Albany junior Payton Starwalt set a new state record in all classifications for made 3-pointers in a single campaign, passing former Clackamas standout Sara Barhoum with her sixth and final make Saturday to give her 127 for the season. Starwalt, who's averaging more than 28 points per game, finished with 35 points and seven assists in the fifth-ranked Bulldogs' 76-46 victory against No. 12 Bend. Lily Hamblin added 13 points and six rebounds for West Albany, which started the season 4-4 but has gone 17-1 since. ...

No. 1 Redmond ran its winning streak to 24 games and set a season-high for scoring in a 102-16 win versus 16th-ranked North Eugene to advance to the state tournament in McMinnville. Freshman Kodee Kimball went 16-for-20 from the field and 4-for-6 on 3-pointers to rack up a team-high 36 points. Kimball also had seven of the Panthers' 20 steals. Mylaena Norton had 20 points for Redmond, which scored 30 points in the first quarter and 27 in the third. Since a season-opening two-point loss to 4A Henley, the Panthers have recorded 23 of 24 wins by double digits. ... 

Second-ranked Springfield put the clamps down on Putnam, leading 18-1 after one quarter and never looking back in a 65-22 victory. The Millers improved to 23-1 versus 5A competition this season. Freshman Nuari Filipe scored 14 of her game-high 20 points in the first half, while Darissa Romero-Ah Sam poured in four 3-pointers and scored 16 points. Lucy Warren led the Kingsmen with eight points. ... South Albany continued its mission to return to the state championship game after a heartbreaking overtime loss in last year's final, beating 14th seed Eagle Point 62-30. The No. 3 RedHawks are 21-2 against 5A teams this season. ...

Defending champion Crater's defensive pressure overwhelmed Canby and the Comets raced to a 90-30 win. Taylor Young scored 35 points, dished seven assists and nabbed 12 steals in three quarters of play. Brynlee Young (19 points) and Jazmine Fernandez (18) also had standout games for No. 4 Crater, which racked up 32 steals. The 13th-seeded Cougars were led by Karsyn Hills' nine points. ... Gabi Moultrie scored 18 points and Fareeda ElManhawy had 16 as No. 6 Wilsonville got past 11th-seeded Lebanon 69-46. Addi Smith chipped in with 12 for the Wildcats, who lost three games early in the season to top-tier 6A teams but have won 20 in a row since. "We're grateful to have earned a chance to compete among a field of stellar teams," head coach Tyler VanAcker said. "Our kids are enjoying the moment." ...

No. 7 Crook County got 29 points from freshman McKinley Sloper as the Cowgirls led by as many as 20 in the second quarter and earned a 61-46 win versus No. 10 La Salle Prep. Hayden Decker hit five 3-pointers on the way to 17 points for Crook County. The visiting Falcons closed within single digits in the third quarter but leading scorer Ava Bergeson suffered an injury and left the game after scoring 11 points. Ella Manson made five 3-pointers and topped La Salle Prep with 15 points. ... Reigning third-place finisher and 2024 champion Silverton booked a spot back in McMinnville by beating No. 9 Summit 62-52. Allie Mansur had a game-high 21 points for the eighth-seeded Foxes, while Karlee Martirano posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Defending state champion and top seed Stayton raced back into the tournament in Forest Grove with a 73-16 victory over 16th-ranked Klamath Union. The Eagles held the Pelicans to four points in each quarter. Laela Hunt led a balanced scoring effort with three 3-pointers and 13 points for Stayton, with Kathryn Samek contributing 11. Khloe John and Zuri Anderson had 10 each. The Eagles have won 11 straight games. Isabella Armijo scored seven points for Klamath Union, which carried a season-long three-game winning streak into Saturday's matchup. ...

No. 2 Baker is looking to improve on a semifinal appearance in the state tournament last season. The Bulldogs jumped out to a double-digit lead in the first quarter and cruised to a 52-27 win against No. 15 The Dalles. Baker moves on to face Cascade, which is beat in the 2025 third-place game. ... Third-seeded Seaside held No. 14 Pendleton to four made field goals and beat the Buckaroos 60-25. Seaside led 38-14 at halftime. Carly Corder led the Seagulls with 18 points while Makenna White had 12. "When shots fall like they did for us and steals are in abundance, it's a fun team to watch," Seaside coach Marla Olstedt said of her team. Khimora Scott scored 10 points for Pendleton. ...

Junior Ashley Powell scored all 24 of her points in the first three quarters to lift No. 4 Marist Catholic past Madras 55-37. The Spartans set the tone by taking a 15-3 lead through one quarter. Zoe Kollen and LaRhia Stevens each made three 3-pointers and scored nine points for the White Buffaloes. ... No. 5 Henley recorded its fifth straight win by at least 40 points, downing 12th-ranked Scappoose 67-27. Sophomore Makalya Schroeder had a huge game with 27 points, 20 rebounds and three steals to lead the Hornets while Senia Campos went 10-for-12 on free throws and scored 15 points. Lux Johnson put in eight points for the Indians. ... Sixth-ranked St. Helens trailed by five at home through three quarters to No. 11 North Bend, but erupted for 21 points in the fourth quarters to earn a 45-39 victory. Devan Lee recorded 11 of her 14 points in the final frame, while Madelyn Hancock chipped in with 12 points. The Lions have won six straight games and 11 of 12. The visiting Bulldogs led 22-15 at halftime but couldn't hold on down the stretch. Freshman Lauryn Garrigus led North Bend with 10 points. ...

No. 7 Cascade shot 52% from the field and played a "great team game" according to coach Glenn Norris, beating 10th-seeded La Grande 58-41. Rozalyn Schmunk went 7-for-12 from the floor and made all five free throws for a team-high 19 points. Olivia Bennett shot 3-for-4 on 3-point attempts on the way to 13 points. The Cougars reached the semifinals last year. ... Philomath built a 31-7 halftime lead and took down Mollala 55-24. Jordyn Hood hit four 3-pointers and posted 18 points for the No. 8 Warriors, who finished as runners-up to Stayton in last year's state tournament. Reagan Heiken added 12 points. Yasmin Montiel paced the No. 9 Indians with nine points in their lowest-scoring game of the season.
