Libby Wilson's double with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning plated the game-winning run in Mountainside's dramatic 3-2 win over Jesuit after the Crusaders had tied the game on a two-out, two-run single by LIz Jacobs in the top of the seventh. Wilson went 3 for 5 on the day and Tenley Jukkala was 3 for 4 and scored the winning run. Skyler Hins pitched six shutout innings for the Mavericks. Jacobs finished 4 for 5 at the plate for Jesuit while Aubrey Rhodes started in the circle and struck out five Mavericks in four scoreless innings. Mountainside went 3-0 versus Jesuit this season, winning the previous matchups 3-2 and 5-1. ...
Glencoe pitcher Kalli Farrimond allowed three hits in a complete-game shutout without striking out a batter as the Crimson Tide beat McMinnville 5-0. Makena Petrick hit a solo home run for Glencoe, which scored three runs in the fifth inning to open up a five-run cushion. Alex Bates was 2 for 2 for the 14th-seeded Grizzlies, who upset Forest Grove in the previous round. ... Top seed West Linn will host defending state runner-up North Medford on Saturday.

Canby scored three times in the top of the third inning and held on from there to beat No. 2 Dallas 3-2. Alli Hayzlett threw all seven innings and allowed four hits for the Cougars, who will face league rival Wilsonville in the semifinals. Hayzlett also recorded a double, as did Abi Troutman, who went 2 for 3. Kristin Vissers, Taylor Saucedo and Summer St. John contributed the RBIs in the third inning. Pitcher Maddi Jones went the distance for the Dragons, notching 10 strikeouts. She also drove in both Dallas runs on singles in the third and fifth innings. ...
Mandy Russell's two-run single in the bottom of the fourth inning was all Wilsonville needed to edge past West Albany 2-0 in a game that saw the teams combine for four hits. Addi Smith was dominant in the circle for the Wildcats, racking up 16 strikeouts in the complete game with only one walk. Smith has struck out 31 in her two playoff starts. Gabriella Young took the tough-luck loss for the Bulldogs, allowing two hits over six innings. ... Elly Casey hit for the cycle with four RBIs and two runs scored in No. 1 Scappose's 8-4 win against Estacada. Saige Casey struck out nine batters over seven innings for the Indians. Laney Briones hit a two-run homer for the Rangers to take an early lead, but Scappoose answered with four runs in the bottom of the inning and never looked back. Samanthan Klein also homered for Estacada. ... St. Helens broke things open with five runs in the sixth inning as the Lions downed Henley 9-1. Addy Ellis and Madelyn Hancock each had two RBIs, while Ellis and Halli Hays had a triple apiece. Eme Curaming allowed a run on five hits with no walks and six strikeouts in the circle. No. 11 Gladstone kept rolling into the semifinals with a tight 4-3 victory over Tri-Valley Conference rival The Dalles/Dufur. The Warhawks won two blowout matchups in late April, but the Gladiators got revenge with wins by identical 4-3 scores on May 18 and on Friday. Allie Whiteley went 4 for 4 for Gladstone, while Natalee Marvin added two RBIs. Ashlynne Franssen had 10 strikeouts while allowing four hits. Ava Graves went 3 for 3 for The Dalles with a double, triple and two RBIs. The Warhawks had the tying run on second base in the seventh inning but Franssen got a flyout to end the game. ... Defending 4A champion Astoria kept hopes for a repeat alive by beating Marist Catholic 3-0. Taryen Wray pitched a four-hit shutout with no walks and nine punchouts. Lyla Carlson singled in two runs in the bottom of the first inning and Finley Cameron added an RBI in the fifth. Lillian Wobbe pitched well in the loss for the Spartans, giving up two earned runs in six innings.

Sophia Navarrete hit a home for the second straight playoff game and Vale remained undefeated with a 9-0 win over Harrisburg. Navarrete finished 2 for 2 at the plate with three RBIs and a walk while pitching a complete-game shutout with 13 strikeouts. Brooklyn Maag also drove in three runs for the top-seeded Vikings. ... South Umpqua scored all five runs in the bottom of the first inning and made it hold up to get past North Valley 5-1. Pitcher Jasmine Morales shined with 14 strikeouts while allowing only two hits. Kylee Pachao had a two-run triple in the big first inning, while Morales, Khylen Murphy and Dakota Gallego each drove in runs. Natalie Miller had both hits for the Knights and pitcher Ryan Edwards allowed one hit in 5 2/3 scoreless innings in relief. ...
Taylor Bradfield went 3 for 4 with four RBIs and struck out nine in a complete game in the circle as Yamhill-Carlton beat reigning state champ Scio 11-3. Josie Barker was a perfect 4 for 4 at the plate with two runs and an RBI. The Tigers piled up 15 hits and scored seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Macy Johnson and Mahala Pyle had three hits each for the Loggers, who lost all three meetings this season against fellow Coastal Range League member Yamhill-Carlton. ... Hayden Bell hit a go-ahead triple in the bottom of the fourth inning and Dayton went on to a 4-1 victory versus Banks to get within one win of a return trip to the state title game. Bell also had a single in the sixth inning that led to an insurance run. Rachel Baumholtz only struck out two Braves, but gave up just four hits to get the win. Weston-McEwen raced out to a big lead, shook off a rally by Perrydale, and eventually earned a 10-6 win. The TigerScots led 6-0 through two innings but the Pirates closed within 6-5 in the top of the fourth before the home team reclaimed control. Hope Berry went 2 for 4 with two doubles and four RBIs to pace the TigerScots offense, with Lily Langford going 3 for 3 with four runs scored. Pitcher Brielle Ward walked seven but struck out 14 and allowed only five hits. Brooklyn Barcroft launched a three-run home run in the fourth inning for the Pirates to pull within a run, but Weston-McEwen pushed three more runs across in the bottom half of the inning. ... Regis scored four times in the first inning, then Hadley Foster and Payton Welch launched back-to-back home runs in the fourth as the Rams sailed past Union/Cove 8-2. Foster went 3 for 4 with three RBIs. Olivia Adams also had three hits for the Rams. Addie Bishop struck out seven in five innings to get the win. Jenna Johnson went 3 for 3 with an RBI to lead the Bobcats.
Heppner/Ione raced out to a four-run lead in the first inning and cruised to an 8-2 triumph against Pilot Rock/Nixyaawii. Maya Payne gave up two runs and six hits over seven innings to get the win. Sarah Estes had two hits and two RBIs to lead a balanced Mustangs offense. Hailey Thieme went 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Rockets. ... Joey Sizemore's walk-off single gave Clataskanie a 5-4 win over Country Christian/North Clackamas Christian in a back-and-forth affair. Both teams scored a run in the sixth and seventh innings. Sizemore threw all seven innings for the Tigers, allowing five hits and striking out 11. Olivia George went 2 for 2 with two RBIs. Grace Colvin went 3 for 4 and scored two runs for the 16th-seeded Cougars, who upset No. 1 Kennedy on Wednesday in the round of 16.
