Ladies and Gentlemen,

Before we begin this contest, we'd like to take a moment to reflect and remember the events of September 11, 2001.

We honor the thousands of Americans who lost their lives on that day 25 years ago, and those whose lives were forever altered.

Please join us now in a moment of silence to remember those we lost, and in honor of the courage and compassion shown by ordinary citizens in the moments and years that followed.
