2A Boys Track & Field Championship Qualifications

2A Boys Track & Field

1. Automatic Qualifiers – Top two placers in each individual and relay event at each of the six Special District Meets automatically qualifies for the State Championships. If there is a tie for second place, it shall be determined by the Special District prior to submitting the official state championship entries to the OSAA.

Wildcards

1. Wildcards – There are 4 additional spots for the next fastest times/marks from Special District Meet finals.

Qualifying Standards

1. Qualifying Standards – Championship finalists in individual and relay events at each of the six Special District Meets who meet the qualifying standard (4th place average of the last four State Championships) for individual events and (3rd place average of the last three State Championships) for relays automatically qualify.
