Oct. 15 Statewide Boys Soccer Coaches Polls

OSAAtoday presents its twice-monthly statewide Boys Soccer Coaches Polls in all classifications. Thanks to all the coaches who took the time and had the expertise to contribute their opinions to this endeavor.

We also will have a Boys Soccer Coaches Poll next week. It will be the final one of the 2018 Boys Soccer season.  

Please note: these polls are for generating interest and discussion only and have no impact on the OSAA’s RPI and Colley ratings that form the basis of the OSAA’s rankings for playoff purposes.

Notes: La Salle Prep has won seven in a row since a 3-3 tie with Corvallis on Sept. 11. The Falcons have switched spots with the Spartans atop the poll. ... South Albany took down Corvallis 1-0 on Saturday when Ozzie Ramirez converted a free kick with 10 seconds left. The goal came after a foul was called on a breakaway.

Woodburn, which beat Stayton 5-1 in the first round of conference play, had outscored its first 10 opponents 71-2. ...
