WILSONVILLE – The executive board of the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) met for three days at its annual board workshop in Redmond, Ore., July 20-22.

Actions taken by the group included policies surrounding student-athlete safety. The executive board adopted an updated board policy on Air Quality Guidelines following updated guidance from the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and further consultation with OHA staff. The updated guidelines provide schools with considerations for managing outdoor events based on poor air quality.

The executive board also adopted the 2026-27 Athletic Officials Handbook and the 2026-27 OSAA Handbook.

A full summary of actions taken by the executive board at its July 22nd meeting can be found on the OSAA website.
